Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your BChat account (app package com.brokerchat.app) and the personal data associated with it. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or request deletion by email.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
You can permanently delete your account yourself from within the BChat app:
- Open the BChat app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab, then open Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are removed immediately and you are signed out.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, send an email from the address registered to your BChat account to the address below, with the subject line "Delete my account". We use the sending address to verify your identity before processing the request.
Email a deletion request- Open your email app using the registered account email.
- Send a message to shopbrokerage@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account".
- We confirm receipt and process the deletion within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data tied to it, including:
- Your account profile — name (display name), email address, password, profile photo, and bio.
- Your property listings and their images.
- Your chat messages, including any locations you shared, and your chat memberships.
- Your presence and read-status records.
What may be retained
We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it, or to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms. Such data is kept only for as long as necessary and is then deleted or anonymized.
Messages you sent into shared group conversations may remain visible to other participants as part of their own conversation history, but they will no longer be linked to your identity.
Data stored on your device
Some data is stored only on your own device (such as your login session, cached listings, and app preferences). Uninstalling the BChat app, or clearing its storage in your device settings, removes this local data.
Retention period
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backups are purged on our regular backup-rotation cycle, after which no copies of your personal data remain.
